As entrepreneurs, the concern was that the engineering service provision sector is positioned out of the reach of the actual people in need of these professional services, through the high price of services. Thus, GST offers shared services such as research and development, design and engineering.

Green & Smart Technologies (GST) Limited was registered in the year 2015 as an engineering company, licensed to carry out the full range of engineering services from consultancy, design and conception to construction, procurement, and project management. Energy efficiency, smart solutions and environmental consciousness are the guiding principles of operations at GST. Issac Brawn Engineering Limited (IBEL) has a combined experience in international and local projects across Africa and Europe. IBEL delivers solutions that are tailored to meet the specific needs clients.
With a pool of 30 partnering consultants based in Nigeria and the United Kingdom IBEL has delivered quality consultancy services in Nigeria, Ghana, the United Kingdom, and Ascension Island with an integration of knowledge transfer to service delivery especially for complex assignments.
Some notable projects and clients IBEL has worked on include the World Bank financed Federal Government of Nigeria MDA debt verification exercise coordinated by the Power Sector Working Group (PSWG) in the office of the Vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
IBEL also carried out a field verification exercise, auditing existing installations in all compression stations within the UK power stations to determine the dispersion radius of the on-site, above-ground regulator installations and verify details of installation on-site.
IBEL was also involved in Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Nigerian Energy Support Program (NESP) creation of digital platforms for de-risking RE/EE investments, development of the renewable energy equipment standards to streamline the import process for RE/EE equipment, as well as supporting complex analytics for energy audits and survey data of off grid energy projects in Nigeria under the World Bank and Africa Development Bank financed Nigerian Electrification Project (NEP).
