Economic and societal development in general is strongly linked to the investments made on R&D and this explains the advancement of developed countries. Africa has not done well in terms of investment (efforts and resources) to R&D. We believe that home grown solutions, technological and economic development can be realized through increased R&D efforts and investments.
Nigeria has a huge portion of its businesses as MSMEs that can hardly afford the huge investments required of R&D. Thus, our approach is to pool the various R&D needs of these MSMEs and be the R&D outfit for MSMEs. This way they can have access to R&D and the resulting benefits.
Also, it is important to create awareness on emerging systems and solutions to encourage their use and consequent development. Creating and publicizing case studies and research outputs from our projects will encourage increased use, development and maturity of locally adapted technology solutions.
