Project Overview
Green & Smart Utilities delivered the design, installation, and commissioning of a 6.45kWp solar power system for a residential client in Life Camp, Abuja. The project included rooftop PV installation, wall-mounted inverter and battery setup, power distribution and circuit separation, and full testing and commissioning to improve reliable on-site power supply.
Outcomes
- Installed and configured 15 rooftop solar modules with a total PV capacity of 6.45kWp.
- Deployed 1 x 10kVA inverter and 2 lithium battery cabinets with total storage of 14.7kWh.
- Completed inverter power distribution and circuit separation, with inverter output test passed at 220V.
- Commissioning checks passed for PV charging and utility charging, with battery voltage recorded at 51-53V and PV operating voltage at 90-100V.
Project details
Executed the installation and configuration of a rooftop solar power system comprising 15 photovoltaic (PV) modules with a combined generation capacity of 6.45kWp. Integrated and commissioned a 10kVA inverter system alongside two lithium battery cabinets, delivering a total energy storage capacity of 14.7kWh.
Completed inverter power distribution, circuit segregation, and system wiring to ensure efficient load management and operational safety. Conducted inverter output testing, successfully achieving a stable 220V output. Performed comprehensive commissioning and performance validation checks for both PV charging and utility charging systems, confirming optimal functionality with battery voltage levels maintained between 51–53V and PV operating voltage ranging from 90–100V.
