Overview

Green & Smart Utilities Ltd completed the installation of an 11.6 kWp solar power system at River Park Estate, Lugbe, Abuja. The project delivered 10 kVA inverter capacity and 20 kWh lithium battery storage, together with power distribution, circuit separation, testing, and commissioning. The installation covered rooftop solar module deployment, wall-mounted system equipment, storage integration, and final system handover.

Scope of work

The scope of work included installation of an 11.6 kWp solar system, inverter power supply distribution, and circuit separation. Works covered roof-mounted installation, wiring and configuration of solar panels; wall-mounted installation of inverter sets, breakers, trunking paths for cables and busbar panels; battery connections and configuration; inverter output distribution; circuit separation; and final testing and commissioning.

Outcomes

The system was installed and commissioned successfully. Recorded commissioning results show PV array operating voltage of 100–120 V, successful PV autonomous charging (not at full load), successful inverter AC output check at 230 V, successful utility charging test, and battery voltage reading of 51–53 V. The project report also confirms completion of power output distribution and circuit separation works.

The project demonstrates GSU’s ability to deliver medium-scale rooftop solar installations with integrated lithium storage, structured electrical distribution, and commissioning support. It is also a useful internal reference for future residential or mixed-use solar projects requiring rooftop mounting, wall-mounted system integration, battery parallel configuration, and clear handover documentation. Client naming should be cross-checked internally before the document is used for public-facing submissions.

Project details

Implementation included installation, wiring, and configuration of 21 solar modules on the rooftop; installation of the 10 kVA inverter and wall-mounted battery cabinets; installation of breakers, SPDs, and busbar panels; configuration of two 10 kWh lithium battery cabinets in parallel to form a 20 kWh battery bank; inverter output distribution; circuit separation; and final system testing and commissioning.
